So last year I got fed up with a long term group of friends I was with and quit them all. I also quit a lot of people in my life that were "users."
I decided to devote my time to me.. and I did. I have been spectacularly successful. 1. I lost 25 lbs. 2. I turned my semi furnished basement into a furnished one. 3. I have done a lot on investing 4. Another year, another good review at work. But here is the thing... there is no one to tell about it.

I'm so happy for you! Life is amazing without all those toxic people. I'm glad you realized that you can do so much better all on your own.
Maybe you don't have anyone to tell today ... but what matters is the wonderful things you accomplished this year.

Thank you! But it is a sobering thought that I really have to think about. What good is a good life if there is no one to tell about it? Yah know? At least for me. Maybe I have to find some good solid friends who do want to hear about it.

Congratulations! Like everyone said, you just told us.
You're right, go find a new good and close friend this time. No need for big group, just one or two true friend is enough. |

Congratulations - and you've told us about it and this is the beginning of making friends, albeit online friends. We have a friend whom my family have known 11 years and recently met her and her fiancee. They came from Canada to stay with us.
