How do you define family? In my family, I don't know some of my relatives, and some relatives I have varying degrees of closeness to. Some people who are not by blood I consider more like family than people I am related to. But what makes a family a family? Who do you call family? What does family mean to you?

My family is anyone I love who loves me. I don't have many blood relatives who fit into that category, but I have a weather of amazing and wonderful friends who make up my family.

Well...there’s the Manson family... A family is a related unit of people either by blood or by love.

Me too. I have considered friends more family than my own family.

I guess, when you feel welcomed, accepted for who you are, liked and cared for, that is family.
