I want to thank everyone for your support during the past couple of weeks. When I wrote my first post, I was really upset and I’m still trying to work through the break up 3 weeks ago. I had so many crazy thoughts but every time I wrote here it helped me cheer up a little. I’ve been through break ups before but that doesn’t mean that it gets easier. For me breaking up for whatever reason it was it’s still hard to deal with. I believe that being able to tell him everything to his face on Friday gave me some kind of closure. I still think a lot about him but I am not longer expecting anything from him. I’m able to see how he really was and I deserve someone who would respect and value me. We haven’t talked since then and I don’t think he would try to contact me anymore. I look forward to the day I don’t longer think about him!... Thanks again for your support!!!

I hope in the future you find that one person who becomes your soul mate.
Thanks for this!

I think it'll be really strange for you to look back on this... The intense, irrational feelings you've had towards that person will dissipate and you'll see the whole situation from the outside looking in.
Time will tell what really mattered and what didn't.

I think heartbreaks are beautiful.
Unfortunately, it's when we grow and learn about others and ourselves the most.

I'm glad you're getting a better grip of yourself.
