Really really evident because you can hide the feelings and your face become a tomato...

If that person doesn't like you, what would that person do? Or what would you do if you were in his place?

It's hard to say because it depends on the type of like or dislike, I'd imagine. There could be a plethora of ways and non ways.

It's still hard to say. Unless they are actually telling you to get lost...there aren't too many certainties.

He actually told me he enjoys when I am around, but.....
I guess It could be possible he just likes me as a friend and doesn't mind I like him romantically....

He doesn't know, does he?

At the least sounds like an inkling of a chemical reaction. I'd recommend letting things unfold in their own time.

I haven't directly told him (I will call him S).

But when I talk about S, it's evident to the person I am talking to that I like S because of my non-verbal reaction. I get nervous in a funny way, blush, my tone of voice is different, ... It also happens when I talk with S.

I will just wait a little bit more

Thank you

This person that you talk to about "S", is it a big deal if they are clued in about this like of "S"? Are they a safe person to divulge this crush/interest of "S" to?

That person is a friend, it is not possible for her to divulge anything.

The situation is more complex since S is in a different "position" than us (like a employee and his boss).

No, it's just a similar situation (I have less power).

But it is not permanent.

No, he is the only men I have ever liked. Actually, I thought I was asexual until now

I am in my early twenties (he is not much older).

What is it about his qualities that stirred up such unexpecting feelings?

.... He is kind, gentle, a little playful even if shy (in a cute way), helpful, hard working, wise and always looks calm

Maybe this crush is opening a pandoras door to your ability to be interested in others?
Those sound like some pleasant qualities to keep in mind.

Did he change his behavior recently, OliverB? Have you noticed any hints in the way he talks and behaves around ypu? If you don't, perhaps it isn't as obvious as you think. I agree with healingme4me that it depends on what kind of person he is. Like she has already said, I'd suggest to wait a short while and see how it goes from there. Perhaps you coul try to ask him out if you feel like it. It's the only way to know for sure. I know it isn't easy, though. The final decision is up to you. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

I am afraid I feel it is more than a crush....

He is a very nice person, we share mental health problems... and understand each other...
