Ex boyfriend reached me

He changed phone numbers. He is very persistant which is a weakness of mine. Says he will change, with his behavior of lack of compromising, give my mom another chance, etc. Actually begs me to give him a chance. I'm trying to ignore him after telling him we really don't want the same things. Emotionally I'm drawn, logically not. Trying to go with logic, he says he loves me, dated others. Still loves me.

it's not persistent you want. that means anyone that keeps trying, which means they disregard your feelings and desires, goals etc.. will win in the end.

you want the opposite not someone that thinks that if they keep pushing they will break you down but someone that actually cares for who you are and to give you what you want and need. that's what a relationship is all about and what loving someone means, his goal is he wants what he wants and his goal is not about you it's about what he wants and is entirely selfish.

keep that in mind when you feel weak.

I talked to him. Stood my ground he said he won't contact me again. The problem was there was a time i tried to get him back. It's over.

Well the next day he texted. I don't want to say good-bye. I really thought about it without responding. Glad I had kept myself busy yesterday. Hard for me not to respond to texts. I decided to block him on text and email. I met him when I was recovering from a break. Wasn't in a good place mentally it was too soon. But I'm drawn to him emotionally and fighting it with logic.
