I find a lot of girls especially the ones my age to be drama. I wish they weren't like this. They also back stab you and are fake. I mean I don't get it. And then guys just want one thing. Sometimes I feel like I hate everyone.

That happens a lot in your age group. My daughter ended up making friends with older more mature women that she met while engaging her passion. I remember her telling me that the girls her age tended to be boring with too much drama and empty conversations.
Can you find a music group that may have older individuals that are more interesting for you to interact with? Are there any theaters near you where you can donate your time? I mean theaters that put on plays and musicals etc. |

I agree about age brackets in the sense of identity development. Hence, being caught up in the lives of others as opposed to soul searching and solidifying enriching self interests. Hopefully, some if not most will outgrow it--but I can attest to knowing mature women more mature that I who have yet to. (Men too)
That is why the suggestion to branching off into your areas of interest and changing direction is a wise one. Even if they remain unwell, you won't be. |
