I apologise for making so many posts, but this is a topic that I've feared making for so long.
I'm dating Katie, we speak every day religiously and always have time in a busy work life. We are due to meet soon, but lately she's been distant and barely there any more. Today she told me that she may need to reschedule our date as she just needs time away and to destress, is this a "it's time to call it quits" or just a genuine "I'm stressed and need me time" It would be a real shame to lose her, as I'm really fond of Katie.

It sounds to me like she simply needs some time to herself. As someone who himself occasionally needs alone time to relax his mind, I can relate.
Let her have her time, and when she comes back to you, ask her if there's any issues with the relationship she'd like to discuss. Communication is key.

I haven’t read any of your other posts yet. Have you two ever met in person? It may be this person is getting nervous about meeting you and is backing off. This often happens in online relationships. I hope this is not the case and you do meet and it goes well.

I’d say that in order to say good bye you need to say hello first and honestly I’d not call it dating yet. I’d give it time and see if she wants to meet at a later time but if she is distant it’s possible she changed her mind
