I am excited and apprehesive. When my husband and I went to the book store while X-mas shopping today I found in the journal section a book called All About Us. It is a question book that couples do together to learn about each other. I showed it to my hubby and he thought it was great. We are, afterall, trying to increase communication and to learn about each other. I am excited because he showed me his commitment to improving our understanding of one another. I am aprehensive because there are questions that are not going to be easy to answer. I have made a decision about it though. I am not going to lie. If there is a question that is too scary to answer I am going to tell him so and let him know that I may be able to answer it at a later date. I think he will understand.

Zen, I just wanted to say that's it's amazing how incredibly devoted you are to building a strong relationship with your husband...well, both of you are. In a day and age where divorce seems like such a viable alternative for so many, to see a lot of people here working so hard to make their relationships work is inspirational. Thanks for sharing this, it was a definite feel-good.
