With reference to the book titled "Love & Limerence" by Dorothy Tennov, I hereby invite members to share their views and experiences on Limerence. Most teens are plagued by the pains of limerence at some or other time and this book can help them understand why their coveted partner does not reciprocate. Moreover, they can explore ways and methods in which they can deal with the situation and protect themselves from the harmful after-effects.

Also, one can be wary of a limerent relationship and take necessary precautions to keep such feelings in control and not to let them blow out of proportion. I believe that at its initial stages there is a possibility of controlling the limerent reaction and nipping it in the bud, provided one is aware of its negative consequences.

Welfare, not-for-profit organizations may like to conduct more extensive research on the subject of Limerence and the State may like to formulate measures and procedures for profiling high-risk individuals, preventing and treating the limerent reaction with the intent of preventing this undue pain.

Once I learned what limerence was, those old feelings I had for the elusive and unrequited went away, as I could now explain why my feelings were misguided.
