He asked if I would wait for him while he traveled. I said how long, and told him I can be faithful. He was happy to hear it. So we discussed some stuff. Says he loves me a lot. Good cause I'm really into him too. He's sweet, loving, etc.
So now to say goodbye to the other guys I've been dating. They don't measure up to him anyway. But I was kind of hanging on cause i wasn't sure where he stood. Now I know, but it's still hard to say bye to one guy. Because of his impression of where this relationship is vs. My feelings.

Okay I did it. Told the guy I was dreading telling that we just weren't going to work. Rather than say I met someone.

You said you could be faithful while he travels... did he answer you how long HE would be gone? Is he pledging to be faithful to you while gone?

Yes he knows about them. That's why he asked, he already is just dating me. He said a few days, but has another trip that's a few weeks in the spring.

Happy for you Aviza. Just be aware that saying "I love you" so soon can complicate things and lead to more hurt if it goes south. Slow down, and enjoy!

is that the same guy who doesn’t want to be married?
I think it’s a very strange question “I am going away for few days and then few weeks in a spring, will you be faithful?” What did he expect? He thinks people can’t want for just few days and all just sleep around as soon as their boyfriends are out of town? I’d be offended with this question . Move slow. |
