My daughter shows her face now on video chat! It really sucked at first cause all i would get was an eyeball or ceiling. And I miss her. I hate this stay home order. Hate it.

I sent her a box of stuff. Since i can't give it to her cause i don't see her anymore. She was happy and chatty that day. It was fun.

But this makes my past mistakes more painful cause I could have stayed married, been a mom to my kids, but i went crazy. Now i live alone and have to video chat my daughter who lives with dad and step mom. Sucks totally sucks.

How old is your daughter? Are you able to get shared custody?

You have relationship with her, talk to her and see her. That’s how many non custodial parents live. It’s not easy but not uncommon. I’d say just enjoy time that you have with her.

Pretty much soon she’ll be on her own and neither you nor your ex will live with her. I do understand missing ones children. It never gets easier. My daughter (adult) lives very far snd I can only see her infrequently. You live with it. You adjust.
