Don't even know where to being, I'm so excited! Why, you ask? For two different reasons; one, my DIL who some of you may know as "C"... well, before Christmas she made the effort to work things out between us. It was a rough go for a few weeks but we worked things out and we wound up having a GREAT Christmas Season, not just the day the local families got together.
Everything is still going great... no, BETTER! I've known for a while that she's artistic so just recently I asked her if she'd be interested in making a little money for herself and would she join me in creating T-shirts. The "business" is called "Tomi's Ts and Things." So... she asked me if I was just selling T-shirts. I said "no." That was the reason for adding the "and Things."  I think I've released a budding genius!!  In one day, she produced three wreaths and a decorated Easter egg!!  They're beautiful!!!! I'm gonna have some very STIFF competition from her! The no. 2 reason I'm so excited is that we're working so well together!! WOW!! I'm movin' and a groovin' here 'cause we used to burn up the emails and the phone lines to give each other hell and now we're doing it because there's GOOD things to tell each other!   I wanted so bad to see her creations and she obviously wanted me to see them badly, too, so we... no SHE figured out a way so that I could see them... 'cause my cell phone doesn't get pictures messages.   WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm SO excited for the two... no... for the SEVEN of us! Get this... the "boys" are together going to to the LA area. John, my son, had to make a trip with his work and asked Dad to go with him. WWWOOOOOOOOOO!! Things couldn't be much better right now! Ok... I gotta spaz down some 'cause I'm starting to cough again. Yechy-poo flu! THANK YOU, JESUS!!!! I always did love that girl!

We both struggled and we both hurt, ourselves and each other. One thing stands out, though. SHE is the one that put out the biggest effort to overcome our differences! When we both felt like giving up, it was always HER that opened up communications again. I've gotta give it to her! She sure must love my son to put herself through all that! That girl is just like her MIL; TENACIOUS!
Gotta love her!

Wouldn't it be something if we actually got "rich"??
All we need is a little breathing room in our budgets, though.It's especially great that we're getting along. Now we're a closer family all around. It sure feels good! My other DIL and I butted heads a long time ago and got things straightened out. She's wonderful, too!

Tomi - that is AWESOME! I know how painful the struggle was for you - my heart was breaking along with yours during most of it. I'm really, REALLY glad that you have been able to come together like this. Sending you both hugs!
(ps - once you strike it rich, invest in a better camera - the quality of the pictures will help your stuff sell at a higher price!)

Oh, LMo! You've been through it all with me!
 It sure was a rough road but we, she and I, OVERCAME! I could tear up at the thought! "Could"? I am! LOLThe pics were taken with her cell phone. That's why the quality. She just did the quickest thing she could to get the pics to me. I couldn't wait to see them, either, so...I'm taking my digital camera over tomorrow and get some better pics. Chrissy knows that it was you that I was talking to because of your ability to see both sides. I'll make sure she gets your post as well as your hug! And from me to you, a great BIG THANK YOU for sticking by me the way you did! I'll be eternally grateful!

Thanks for the nudge, Angie! Yes, I'm sure we can get into some craft fairs. Great idea!
Grants for supplies... who would we see about that? Maybe I can Google it? Hubby just said that women constitute a minority. Chrissy has Native American in her background and I have Mexican. Those are "minorities"!
