Three of my grandkids are with me today and maybe for a few days this week. They're mommy is very sick and they have vacation from school this week. Talk about it being like "old times"!!! A line to the bathroom, a line to get served breakfast and a line for lunch. Cartoons going all the time, but they don't know how to sit still so it's going out to ride bikes while I ride my chair.
 The dog doesn't know what to make of it.   The man across the street is known by "Santa Clause" and he's catching all the noise and minor irritations, too. Everytime they see him, the holler "HIIIIIIII, Santa Clause!!!!" So far, he's doing good with them. He MUST love kids or he wouldn't play Santa every chance he gets.  *I* couldn't do it! So far, Poppa is doing good, too, although I look for him to stress out with all the noise. LOL I'm ready for a nap, but no such luck while they're here.  heheheThe poor dog has lost her bed since there are a couple of baby dolls (my collectible ones! ) taking a nap on the couch. Boy! It's been a long time since my house was full of noise and LIFE!

My opinion of a happy home is a place that is filled with laughter, joy and love. These three can exists with just two people but for me, it is blessedly multiplied with children of all ages!
I'm one of the old "kids". LOL

 And a lot of work, too, but oh, what delicious work! I was just planning dinner for the next three days. That's just so me!

For very short snatches of time, I wish I had all nine grandkids here!
 There's nothing quite like having happy kids around to make one happy.

The kids just went home. WWWAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
 Yes, I'm all worn out! Could have kept them the rest of the week, though. Who knows. They may be back tomorrow but today I get to take a nap AND go to bed early! DANG the house is quiet!!

My cup runneth over, Mel!
You know you've got to give love to get it back! The oldest boy and the two yr old couldn't stop hugging me and kissing me goodbye. The oldest boy gave me the thumbs up as they pulled away, the baby blew me a kiss and my Princes smooshed her face against the car window and acted like she wanted out. I'm off to take my nap now...
