I am feeling so frustrated with my husband right now and I need to vent. He simply never really hears me. I'm not sure that he's actually any worse than usual, but now that I'm in therapy, I'm learning what it's like to be heard for the first time. So I think it makes his inattentiveness all that much more painful.

And it isn't huge things, just many little ones and they are starting to add up. For instance, the other night I asked him to get me a Kit Kat bar. He came home with a Twix. He asked me what time we were to be at my parents for Thanksgiving not 30 minutes after we'd had a whole discussion about it. I could list 10 other things that have happened in the past 2 days, but the details don't really matter!!

What gets me is that my husband isn't working right now, he doesn't have any friends other than mine and I am pretty much the only person he talks to. You'd think he could remember the few things I say. Apparently I'm just not that memorable.
