Bit of a vent.

(not about someone here)

I hate people who are "there" and assure you that you matter, that they care, they'll always be there to help etc but they never are. They say they won't judge you, and they'll always be there for you, but they're not. There, but not

It's probably a waste of my time to wonder why someone will ignore me when they say they are there to talk. I know people have problems in their personal life but wouldn't it at least be decent to explain that's why they're suddenly avoiding you and ignoring you?

Is it something wrong with me or them? I know I read anger into things, and I'm naturally not trusting and I'm wary of being betrayed, but I've had it with people who say they understand and are there for you... but somehow never are.

There, but not

I know how you feel. I threw my hands up with friends. I just stick with family. I would lay down my life for any one of my family members and they would do the same for me. I have yet to find a friend like that. I put all my time and effort into my family. But that's just me and my opinion. I know lots of people that need friends.
