...break up with your bf/gf who youve been dating long term in the most gentle way possible? It is probably not possible to get by without any hurt feelings huh? I hate being the bad guy but im so unhappy at the same time. I feel like i need to do something.

Have you tried talking to the person about your feelings? Maybe you don't need to break up. That's a better "something" to do before going drastic.

Hi Random,

Your obviously a sensitive person; some people wouldn't bother to look for advice, they would just do the deed.

The 'huge' arguments indicate that your partner is going to suffer, and I guess this is what is worrying you the most.

You'll need to go right down into your boots for this one, and decide what you want for the future. If you really do want to split, then pretending to keep the relationship going would be more cruel than being up front with how you really feel.

It's your call, and I hope it works out for you and your partner, either together or apart.

Good luck, ethinker, How do you......

I have live your misery for 13 years, the longer you wait, the harder it is. It will also hurt more....

Get out while you can...It gets worse with time.
A big bear hug and a tear for you my friend. I wish nobody my destiny.
