Warning...currently rapid cycling.

I was wondering, if I really cared about someone, should I not date them because my mental illness would cause more problems in the relationship?

Why do some people have this attitude? Afterall, we are people too. And most of us are more loving and kind than "clinically normal people".

What's your take on this?

I think it's ok to date. Normies bring plenty of baggage to their relationships too, you know? so even though your attitude is very considerate, I wouldn't keep myself out of relationships because of mi.

I asked a similar question once about how to tell the person you're dating that you have an mi. People generally told me to wait a while before saying anything.

Lol at violets word 'normies'

Why should we have remain single because of an illness that we can not help? I think that as long as we are prepared to do our best to manage the illness, then it should be fair game.
