Are there people here I can talk to about DID who are family members or perhaps persons who understand their condition that can help me understand the dynamics of the disorder and how it appears to family members before diagnosis?

Hi coper,

Welcome to PC. You ask a very valid and indepth question as to how family relationships are when someone has DID. I think if you post in our Dissociative Disorder forum, you will get some help and support there. (not that you won't get support here, but the DD forum may offer more in that realm) Many members who have DID or live with loved ones who are dx'd with DID can give you some good insight as to how their lives are affected both positively and negatively.

Good luck with your information hunting!

Best to you,
sabby

Thank you. I posted in several different places and it's a bit confusing. I may try to stay in that area of the board.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
