To my door, unannounced, to talk to me. I was surprised at the balanced manner in which we were able to discuss this past Christmas. She seemed to want to talk about our childhoods as well, so I did, and she did as well.
She also expressed concern of my going off the Paxil, and revealed to me for the first time that she has taken Zoloft for 15 years, which I didn't know about. I still want to get off this medication. It was good to have her come here, though I was taken aback to see her at my door. She acknowledged that she was probably "short" with me regarding Christmas plans, and that it is probably due to the way she has evolved with her husband's family, who are all like that. I told her, quite honestly, that I felt that I was "imposing' myself on her for Christmas, to which she replied I was "acting like our mom." Which is true. I'm going to her house tomorrow to exchange gifts with her family. Love Patty |

I think it's great that your sister took it upon herself to show up and talk with you. Communication is so very important and it sounds like you both were able to share some stuff. Misunderstandings happen sometimes and I'm glad you are both working through this one. I hope you have a great time tomorrow! ![]() sabby |
