Don't remember if I've had the time to post the other things going on in my life. This time they are positive. On a roller coaster

Did I tell you my middle son flew in from Oregon? We were at odds, too, but now we're not. We haven't talked, but I promised him time to do so. All I'm going to say is an apology for my past behavior. It got a good reception. Sure has been a trip seeing him and his little brother together again. They used to be inseperable. I think the week that Chuck spends with him will be good for both of them. There will not only be time spent together but thoughts and feelings exchanged. I'm praying that there is some balance in their personal lives come out of this visit. They are both Aquarians born at opposite ends. Chuck is like a duck. Still and peaceful on the top but under the water, there's a whole lot of action going on. John is a tornado waiting to happen. Everything is on the top. Just the short while we spent together on Friday was telling. Chuck had no problem telling John that he thinks he's a "hard ***." LOL How true!! John was listening for a change! On a roller coaster

Hubby related to me, practically word for word, everything that was said on the trip down to the memorial service. hehehe MY MEN! I knew it! They gave each other the same hard times they used to when we were all still living together. They slugged each other with every car from out of state and even "paddidos" (when a car has one light out) They gave their old man a hard time because of his driving. LOL Funny. I don't see that kind of driving when I'm with him... well... except for him cussing out other drivers for doing the same thing he does! LOL

My SIL didn't want me coming to the memorial service and I had no intention of going, but what I did was put together a slide show of her and hubby's dad starting with my FILs parents to his time in the hospital. All the grandkids and great-grandkids were included. Hubby's sister told him that she owed me a great debt of gratitude and that she was feeling guilty for not wanting me there. Maybe she'll see me in a different light now, but I still don't expect to be accepted. I wouldn't want that weight on me. We'll never like or understand each other.

I talked to her son the night before the memorial service. I was expecting attitude from him but there was none! It was cool talking to him! He's the same age as my youngest son. He didn't call me "Aunt Tomi," though. LOL That's okay. Again, I don't want that added ... whatever it would be.

All in all, life is good. Now just to get Suzie taken care of. My daughter? ... Well, that's up to her.

OH!! And hubby talked to our oldest son about the misunderstanding we had about our grandson's birthday party. He said very little to me, but maybe now my son gets it a little bit better.

Enough! I've got to get this place cleaned up 'cause it's driving me NUTZ!! On a roller coaster

Sis Tomi,
Wow!! You should write a book about your family. I bet it would be so interesting and if nothing else it would provide an outlet for everything that is happening to you.
I guess your life is never dull huh?

LOL No, my life is never dull! Sometimes "dull" would be welcome! LOL

I've thought of writing that book, but then I wouldn't have time for my life! LOLOL
