why do guys like to mess with girls emotions. Do they really do this to use a girl. How can they sence a girl is vulnerable. I had a guy teacher who often picked on me and whee it was my brithday he asked his class whether they knew me or not. And to tell me I have the coolest redhair. He got upset because i would not say hi to him in the hallways. I wrote him an email one day because I was feeling really depressed and had no one to go to...he came to my math class and asked me to come and see him...I followed him to his classroom...the first thing he said was...I hardly know you Nicole. I told him I'm an only child...he said he figured I was...and he said I used to be so confident and upbeat...now I just seemed insecure. He asked if I had family problems...I wasn't really sure how to respond...it's been bugging to this very day what happened...after this time...I went to my grad...and he took a picture of me and my friends together to give to the yearbook...he also took a picture at my homecoming....I have no clue what was going on....I also got an award in grade twelve...i had relaly wanted one...I worked really hard to get really good grades...I saw this teacher as a father figure I guess...even though we weren't very close...I had a huge issue...I was getting help from another male teacher for math...and I think he saw this...and I think he realised I had a problem...I was really shy when i was in my crush's class...and I think he thought there was something wrong with me...and when he saw me getting help from this math teacher...i think he realised there really was something wrong because I would be in there almost everyday...i was looking to feel secure....I think about him once in awhile because it makes me feel safe to think about him

Sounds like he stepped over the line. He should treat every student the same emotionally and teach evenly. He should give extra teaching support to those who need it and that's about it. Of course, there are some teachers who cannot contain that boundary and do this kind of thing. As someone young, you wouldn't have known this and are succeptible to this kind of guy.

I hardly remember the names or what my teachers looked like (but it's been quite a while). Those who impressed me were outstanding teachers. I wasn't interested in them for any other aspect. I had my boundaries up as a kid - I didn't date until I was in college since I was younger than the others in my class.

Thanks bonaire...this situation makes a little more sense to me now. I was feeling guilty. Everytime I wake up in the morning I think back to this situation and feel really embarrassed. I feel like it was my fault...I'm not really sure if what he did was right or not...it made me feel better somewhat then...but now I think it has scarred me...I don't really know what his intentions were...whether they were good or bad...I guess I should just forget it and move on...but it's difficult when I remember it each day
