Yes. Having PC is a blessing... And I'm sure I'll be leaning on the support and encouragement I've received here. Thank you all for being here. Now - more than ever - we need each other.

Terry,
How's she doing? Any word? And how about you-how are you doing in her absence?

Thanks for asking rocky! Denise is doing quite well, I think. She came out of her surgery pretty well. We saw each other last week and the week before and I was amazed at how full of life she seemed. Told her so. She started chemo this past Friday so I won't be seeing her this week, but we have an appointment for next week. We do email each other occasionally - did so just this morning - and that's a nice way of keeping in touch. Through it all she's maintaining her professialism, humor, and joy at life.... Pretty amazing if you ask me!

Terry
Thanks for this!

This is so good to hear, Terry!
She really seems like an amazing person! It is great that you can stay in touch with her like that!
I think keeping on the positive side of life is always helpful when it comes to illnesses like cancer. Just not to give up on yourself! I sure cross my fingers that she will be fully recovered soon!
Thanks for this!

Yeah, she constantly amazes me... And she's setting quite an example of how to maintain positive in the face of some pretty intimidating circumstances!! I'm trying to learn from her experience. Now, I'm sure she has her "moments." Afterall she IS human!! But what I see is someone who has been handed this and is going about confronting it with the same vigor she handles most things. She's a fighter!!
Thanks for this!

How wonderful that you're able to keep in touch. It must be a huge relief that she is doing so well. I'm so happy for you.
