You wasn't believe this. I am in love with 2 therapists. I have been seeing an dee woman for 10 years and have a very maternal attachment to her. In he beginning she was very caring and nurturing. She would be there for me all the time and I became very needy. I find myself almost wanting to be in crisis so she will need to take care if me.

For the past 3 months I have been seeing a male therapist for cbt for social anxiety. Now I have romantic feelings for him.

I have been better at not acting on my feelings for the male therapist. He'll tell me stories about his wife and kids and I get so jealous.

I can't keep both therapies going so I have to pick but I can't imagine my life without either if them. I live my life for these 2 hours a week. The rest of the days/hours of the week are just torture.

Help!!!!

That somewhat happened to me once (although it was more of a crush than being in love with). At one time I was seeing an Individual Therapist and a Group Therapist who were almost equally attractive (although I don't see either one anymore) and I had a semi-crush on both of them.

I think you should try to decide based on which T is helping you more. You've seen one for 10 years. That's a long time! Is the CBT helping you? Did your regular T suggest that you see the CBT T? Have you asked her what she thinks you should do?

Does your long-term T know about your feelings for her? Have you tried to work on what's beneath the "transference"? I understand feeling like you're in love with your Ts because I have felt that for my Ts too. It's a hard place to be in when you "live" for those 2 hours/week. I would suggest discussing your feelings with the T who knows you best if you haven't already. Maybe you have to find some people in your real life who can meet some of your needs. I know it's not easy!!!
