Another thread brought this up for me. Instead of highjacking that thread, I'm starting a new one:
Has a therapist exploited you for money? Has he/she borrowed money and never repaid? I can relate. This is another thing that AbusivePDoc did. He learned Medicare was giving me back pay of $4thousand to $5thousand dollars. He didnt ask to borrow it, he convinced me I should let him 'hold' it for me because he said he was afraid I would spend it all. He wrote me a receipt but it didn't include when he should return the money to me. By the time we were in deposition, he testified it was his 'Fee' for filling out a disability form for me. He denied he ever owed it to me. But I still had that receipt! This money issue plus the $money I paid for sessions for HIM to get his sexual needs met was the first thing that brought out my anger against him. We both knew he was lying. We both knew it would be a rare doctor to charge $5thousand dollars for writing one paragraph for Medicare Disability. I'm still upset about it. I know, I'm naive, I never saw it coming. He was never charged with theft, I don't know why. I hopes he chokes on it. Last edited by precaryous; Jul 26, 2017 at 10:58 PM. |

Yes, my previous T did exploit me for money in a very covert way. He placed me in intensive 4 hours a day, 5 days a week therapy for like 7 months straight and was making $400 dollars a day from me and wound up walking away with somewhere in the neighborhood of $70,000. While simultaneously inducing an ET to keep me in therapy at long as possible and not really preforming much therapy so to speak because he just hung out with me and talked about random things like music, movies and how his day was going.

No, I didn't have to deal with that kind of abuse, thank God.
Good grief! As if you were not screwed enough in every sense, you had this on top of everything! Unbelievable ![]() |

Yes. A therapist exploited me for money and recognition in his town.
