only because insurance wouldn't cover me to stay any longer... and that facility was a "short term facility with an average stay of 5-7 days."
So basically, I was kicked out!!!!

I still really need prayers/positive vibes please... I am still really struggling.
I have only been home like 30 minutes and I already gave in to the the voices once and self harmed.

I have seen hospitals release patients in 3 to 4 days after making a serious suicide attempt. That hardly provides the safety net from self injury.

I can't believe a hospital would discharge someone with command hallucinations of self harm....(I believe you Manda, it's the hospital I don't get). Grrr.....

Were your meds changed? I hope they did something to help you out.

I have read a lot of your posts and you are a very kind person. I don't like it when bad things happen to people I like!

Hugs for ya

I'm glad you're safe. Can you recreate many of the limitations you had while in hospital, for your day to day life? What kept you from self harm while there, for example? Nevertheless, self harming behavior is a way (however poor) that you try to cope. Be safe while doing so, and after, and move on. Once you get through some therapy work, those urges will lessen.
