For all you animals lovers that love the Lord.... please say a well needed prayer for my son's four month old puppy that is extremely sick with a case of parvo... the vet says the next three days are very crucial - if Reaper can hang on and fight it until Friday his chances of living are good.

Reaper is on an IV drip, antibotics, nausea medication and a special high fat liguid puppy food in hopes to keep his little body hydrated... as dehydration and not the virus it self is the main killer in dogs with parvo.

I'm so sorry! How sad. I'll definitely pray for Reaper, you, & the vet. My parents & I are dog lovers (& Christians) & we have a dog. Our vet prays for the animals everyday. Please keep us posted!

I'm sorry to hear about your Puppy!!! It's so hard when a member of the family is ill.

I will definitely say some prayers, light some candles, and make an offering for you and your family!!

If you can, keep us posted in how the pup is doing!!!

I wish you all the best....

Looks like the little fellow is going to make it... he is getting his strength back and he ate a half cup of canned puppy food last night and today... Thank you for the prayers.

Hi Rhap,

I didn't realize that dehydration was the biggest threat from Parvo. I'm so glad your puppy is doing better. I am so glad God answered everyone's prayers.

What breed of dog is it?

My husband and I are huge animal lovers.

Reaper is a rednose pit.... probably why he had a fighting chance, his big size at just four months old.
