When I was in England, I asked my mum-in-law, did she believe in angels? She said she didn't know really. She asked if I was an angel? I laughed and said no, but it might be fun. I told her that when she dies, she doesn't need to be afraid, there will be angels and her husband Frank, who died 16 years ago would be there and her God would welcome her into heaven and she would feel no more pain and would feel more love than she has ever felt before in her life of 94 years. Then I kissed her on her forehead.

That was last Wednesday. Today she died. I ask your thoughts to be with my husband who has lost his dear mum who he had a close bond with for 69 years. He is heartbroken.

Did she believe in angels?

Did she believe in angels?Dear Vickie and Husband - please accept my heartfelt condolences, in the loss of your mother in law. It must be hard for your husband that he wasn't there, but thank God you both got to see her. It's possible that maybe she wanted to spare your husband the pain of seeing her pass. Even if a loved one's old and we know their time has come - it's still so hard. You're a kind person to say those beautiful things to her. It was a gift though to live so long and now she's in a better place. You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers my friend.

You were good support right to the end of her earthly life
I lost my mom 6 1/2 months ago. It's unreal.
