...as some of you know my Mom tried to abort me using alcohol and hot water bath.

Well, last week I was standing on the sidelines and the Canada Day Parade with my little Granddaughter who was sitting in her stroller and holding her red balloon. We were waiting for her Mom and her sister to come by in the parade. People were handing out candy and bits of paper with their group listed on them with phone numbers for dancing lessons and music lesson. Well you get the picture.

It is just a little parade so there were preschools represented and children's groups, you know small town stuff, very, very cute. Lots of red and white and it was a perfect day not too hot and not too cold, a bit of cloud to protect us from the rays, so perfect, you know.

We watched the pipes and the marchers go by and the loud hockey truck holding enthusiastic young hockey players and then before I knew it there was a lady handing me a little card. I barely was able to see who she was or what she was representing, a church, I think.

Well, I was undone, there on the card was this little saying: "You created my inmost being and knit me together in my mother's womb. You are wonderfully made." Can you believe that! Wow, that was a hi-lite for me for the day! Well, not exactly the only hi-lite because soon after that my daughter, with the big sister granddaughter came by and waved us into the parade. So not only am I 'wonderfully made', I got to be in a parade with my family! Haha, lol, I am so happy!

It feels like my birthday

Love
Hunny

I wrote a poem once about "God knit me in the womb on his beautiful loom." Something like that (it was better than that)....www.soulpoetry.org is my poetry book, Sanctuary of the Soul (poems of anguish, healing, hope, comfort and celebration) endorsed by Elie Wiesel, Wayne Dyer, Nikki Giovanni, Alice Miller, Drs. Larry Dossey, Elaine Weiss, etc., etc......Glad you had such a lovely day....wonderfully made!

Kind Regards, Alice (over comer and wounded healer)
Thanks for this!

JD, TheByzantine, Lynn P. and Anderson:

Thanks for the encouragement, support, kudos and hopes for me.

Rhiannonsmoon,

Thanks for reminding me that the smiles from my granddaughters are the most cherishable focus to me and I am glad there was a smile brought to your face too.

It is nice to just be spreading the love sometimes.
