A little guy who lives down the road was in an accident a week ago last Monday. He slipped under the mower his older brother was riding and got his heal cut off. Tomorrow he is having his foot amputated. Please if you will keep him and all his family in your thoughts and prayers as they will need all the strength they can get to make it thru this coming day and next few months.

Thanking you all ahead of time
Sweet Sunshine

Sure, Sweet Sunshine, no problem. What's the little guy's name?

Take care.

An injury like this leaves much more than pain and physical rehab for the boy. His brother and parents will have complicated tangles of guilt and other feelings - though it won't help the child and it will hinder the rest of them.

Please pray they can not dwell on why, but help their children adjust and find a new life even though this is hard to accept for anyone.

I will pray too.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my little friend. His surgery went well and the doctors were pretty happy about how it turned out. He may get to come home already tomorrow!! I was happy to hear this because I am sure he would rather heal at home than in a hospital... there isn't much they can do till the wound heals anyways... Here's hoping it goes well

Such a tragic accident! May we all be more careful in warning children of the dangers out there but not so much as to damage their childhood.

Praying for continued support for all.
