Please pray for my daughter, she has Mono for the second time in her life...her doctor was shocked to see that she has it again, she said most people only get it once...and I pushed her the first time to get back to school too soon I think...her dad just doesn't understand why she can't go to school...she is just tired he says...but we have to be careful she doesn't get pain in the upper abdomen on either side because it could cause her liver or her spleen to get enlarged which is a very serious complication of having Mono. So please pray that she will be healed soon and be able to do the things that she likes to do...like going to school...and hanging out with her friends there...
thanks... Jewels ![]() ![]() ![]()

Dear Jewels,
Prayers your way. ![]() This is so hard. But I'm glad you found out. Yes, she should get plenty of rest - it's not enough until she's bored, bored, bored! ![]() Hugs to you. ![]() Elana

I'm sorry to hear this. Most people do have lifelong issues due to mono, if it was bad enough ... that she's had it twice is tough. Give her many weeks to rest! All but one of the people I know who had it bad developed heart murmurs, supposedly due to not resting for 6-8 weeks like they were told. I don't know what the current view is today, by doctors, but be sure and follow and not rush her.
