Erica, why are you scared to go to church? It is just a building. Some think its a building that when you walk in the door nothing bad will follow you and whatever baggage you carry its left behind. Everyone in there is supposed to be well meaning and kind. Just sit quiet and feel the calm, if its there(you can do this anywhere and pray) I used to go to church but I was dissapointed. That scared me in a way.
