Could use your prayers right now........

I hope it is okay to post here and ask for your prayers right now. I am facing some really painful and scary things right now and am trying to reach out here. It is hard for me to ask but I am feeling scared right now. It is hard to post about it as I do not really feel safe. I am afraid of another visit and I do not want to be hurt again. With the hardest time of the year for myself and those within just passing and the full moon in the next night, and never knowing for sure I am feeling a panick right now.

I also have court next week on a situation that I just got a temporary restraining order on a man that was being abusive to me and I finally took a stand on what he was doing, and I feel a lot of fear surrounding this. I have never done this before as my fears always stopped me from going to the authorities but I did last Thursday. Another lady in my apartment building, who has also been abused, and I have turned him in. I know that I did the right thing and I will not allow him to make me shut down but still my fears are there. If they do not give a permanent restraining order then he will be allowed to come back into the apartment building.

He worked in the pantry here and also cooked meals for people in the building. They only know his good side as he hides who he really is from them. They do not know how manipulative, lying, domineering, and deceiving he really is. How he kept the other lady and myself apart so we neither one knew what he was doing to the other.

These last few weeks have been really hard and I am exhausted. I know that when I am exhausted it is harder to keep present and not dissociate thus making it more difficult to keep myself safe. I thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this time. It means more than you could ever know.

I'm so sorry you're feeling troubled. The sadness can be really felt through your post. I just wanted to say that you are very brave to report that 'human' to the authorities. That person sounds very controlling and two-faced. I applaud you for being able to conquer the fears you had and report him.

I wish it makes you feel a little better to know I’m praying for your worries and fears to be taken away, praying for your safety and your well-being and that your pains die away, that excuse for a man is kept away from you, and finally that you feel better.

I’m sorry you’ve had to go through all of this.

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. I appreciate them more than you know. I am really feeling anxious today and it is a cloudy and overcast day which is not helping either. I am already triggered over the night tonight, feels like I am runnning inside and it is somewhat hard to breathe.

I am holding to your prayers and thoughts as I know that I did the right thing as far as the situation with the man goes but it is still weighing on my mind. I have never done this before or been to a court room so I am really nervous. I will not be alone so that is a plus. I will talk to my case manager this morning about it also.

Thank you my friend for your prayers and thoughts during this time. I apreciate them more than you know. I am struggling tonight but I will pull through. Court is Tuesday at 3:00 PM for the restraining order. I will let you all know what the judge says.

I am so sorry that you had to experience such a bad person. I hope you and the other woman can support each other as I am sure she is scared too. I will definitely say some prayers for you that you will be safe and find comfort and overcome. It was very good that you and the other woman are being brave, you are working towards preventing this man from abusing someone else. I will meditate and seen strength and calm your way.

Thank you that means more than you know. The closer it gets the more afraid I become. I do not want to see him again but he will be there.
