I need your help. One of my closest friends from Kansas just called me last night to tell me she thinks she has ovarian cancer, and she is really scared because she has had pain off and on for at least four months. A mass in her pelvic area was picked up on a CAT scan she had this week. She was to the ER a month ago, and they sent her home after they gave her an X-Ray. She doesn't have medical insurance. She is a very vibrant person, who has always worked out, and watched what she ate. Please join me in prayer for a miracle. Thank you ~

Prayer Request for Jan ~

(((EJ711 and Special Friend Jan))) - I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Ovarian cancer is very serious - I pray its not that and something treatable. Keeping your friend in my thoughts.

The GYN my friend saw was fairly optimistic about the possibility of a positive outcome. The GYN has referred my friend onto an oncologist, who would actually do the surgery. The greatest need for pray support at this point is for the availability of both an appointment to see the oncologist, but also an opening on the surgery schedule, which will allow my friend to be free of this unwanted mass. Of course, prayers for a hedge of protection around my friend's mass, so no cancer cells can travel anywhere throughout her system.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your prayers for Jan. She is a very kind and compassionate person, and I know you would all like her.
