I have been strong and now am weak.
Do I need to hang on to the little I have to keep moving forward? I think so but I dragging and sinking and that's when it's so hard. |

I think that faith helps - most of the time. Sometimes, depending on the problem, faith can be a hinderance because not all of its beliefs are necessarily true all of the time. That's why it's often good to add counseling for stubborn problems and to learn to see things in ways other than through those of organized religion so that different views - which may help you and others - can be seen and evaluated.

Through my faith I have found that at times accepting my weakness has helped me move forward. Choosing to admit my powerlessness over my mental illness and try to trust that I am acceptable wherever I am in God's eyes. Not sure if that makes sense?
I do agree that faith in itself is not enough, for me therapy, meds, and support are all necessary to move forward.
