I've had my share of suffering and unfortunate family losses. Yes its hard to cope during those times, but we can end up learning and even have good things come from those events. Sometimes when we're at our weakest point, we find strength. Often we're here to learn lessons and hardly any of us get through life unscathed - we all have our battle wounds and bruises.

Hopefully as we journey through life, we'll end up collecting wisdom and hurdling over what we needed to learn. Don't forget to feel the little joys - they're there despite the hard times. Hang in there.

i really don't know why he lets us live in a world of so much hurt, but i don't really think anyone has a good anser for that.

I am feeling similar right now as well. I don't know how I keep getting through the things I do, except somehow just take a minute at a time?

There are days when I pray for death all the time .. why am I here? Whats the point to all this? The heaviness of tension is so unbearable I can barely breathe and yet I get through it.
I know its tuff on you, but please hang on just for one more moment again.
You do matter to us, in the grand scheme of things .. hell, here I am writing to a complete stranger .. thats HUGE!

When I read of your pain and despair you touched my heart. I thought where can answers be when there is such a mountain of pain. If I had been there I would have picked you up and carried you to a place of safety. I don't think God created us in order to see us tortured. We do that to one another. I know a man who lost his entire family to a car accident when he was a child. He only lived because he was sick and could not go that day. He told me that there was no denying nor minimizing the terrible suffering he felt and still feels. He said suffering has energy to destroy or to create. He told me that for him he used this energy to earn two degrees, one in social work, the other in psychology. He became a wounded healer by using his experience and the empathy he had for others. Im not much of a christian but I thought why would god allow his son to die horribly and slowly on a cross till the son cried out "father why have you forsaken me." I question many things and I still search for those kind of answers.

Good point; as rotten as life can get, it seems there is something to live for even though I seem to live in a world of gray. I went out into the mountains for a load of firewood today while it was blustery and snowing, and nice, old man offered me a pick-up load from his stash for pocket change.

If you just endure this, it will end. And God will show His face again.

If you need God you only need to put yourself in his hands and he will make your life better. Trust me been there done that and I know what power God has in making everything all right. You need to learn to just give yourself to God and listen to the signals he gives you.
If you feel uncomfortable, that is God telling you your are unsafe in this area. If you feel a warm hug of love in your heart that is God. He is telling you he loves you and he is with you, no matter what. Trying to make things happen or egnoring your inner feelings is not the way to go. You must know that each time you feel something inside there is a reason. Hopelessness is one of those feelings that can shut out all the good feelings you could be getting. So give your Hopelessness to God and let him take care of it for you, you just need to look for the good in life. God loves you and he is here to help you, JUST BELIEVE IN HIM! YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE.
