Well, I wonder why I'm amazed. I mean, I wanted this... but the surrounding details are too bizarre to figure out right now...

The answered prayer? CALEB IS FINE, and HEALTHY! The vet's are chalking it up to his becoming sick while on IAMS food just a puppy coincidence. (I don't believe in coincidences.) I think I know better... he was one sick puppy.

Y'all's prayers are what healed him. No other explanation imo...

Thanks. Well, he still is having trouble, though vet said he's healthy and he tried to eat the new mix of wet food but he hates it... and some of that too has now been recalled

I need guidance to know what to feed the poor puppy.

Caleb has a good food now The Lord sent that Eukanuba lady to the store right when I was there for puppy training... and he likes the food (and she gave me a coupon.) He is doing marvelously well.

NOW for another answered prayer for me!

I am low on zomig... and forgot to take any with me to PT and T today the PT worked on my neck which always causes a migraine I had a migraine brewing big time by the drive back home...and then the traffic was slowed because of lane closures... I pulled out my new GPS and had it find me a new way home... I couldn't have made it without it... and then, once home, I took my zomig...

well, if I catch a migraine really early, one pill works within minutes... but this was full fledged before I could take the medicine... I ended up writhing in pain (my sacrum is also out) but unable to really move without my head feeling like it would explode... oh I also have bronchitis and was having trouble breathing

I was a mess.... drank some gingerale, took the second dose of zomig after 2 hours and tried to find the phone to call for rescue... but ended up moving so much I became sick to my stomach...

all I could do was cry out to God for help...

Three hours later I woke up ... no migraine.

Of course, it's like after a seizure... I'm physically drained... and have to take it easy for the night and maybe tomorrow...

I thought I would die from the sickness... oh... God also took care of Caleb in the house while I was asleep.

I'm glad Caleb's doing well.
I hope that you feel better soon. I've never had a migraine (thankfully) but I've had really bad headaches and they were painful enough. Try to get lots of sleep. Can you get to sleep when you're in that much pain? Owieee!!!

That's part of the answered prayer... I just passed out I guess... GOD had me fall asleep..and for 3 hours! It was one of those horrible migraines where you lie with your head at the side of the bed with a bucket on the floor just knowing you are going to puke, and also knowing that if you do that your head will literally explode... except I did puke, my head exploded and I couldn't lie still because my sacrum is out of place I'm in low gear today... just phased out a bit... and hoping it won't rear it's head (or mine!) again today.

I am almost ashamed that it has been so many weeks since I have added to this thread!

Ok...here's another answered prayer...just this morning. Here's the background to the need for the prayer:

Last week I noticed that my washing machine wouldn't draw water. This is huge to me, with my disability. My housekeeper had done clothes the week before I think... but hadn't had time to do wash last week..so I was trying to eek a few things clean

Nothing to do but pile the dirty clothes up... I asked my PT if he knew of any laundromats down there where he is... but never drove out to find them... I did a google search... and then asked my T if the laundromat near him where I used to go (across from the college) was still there... Yep and I called to find out times. I had planned to go there after Tuesday PT and T sessions...but didn't have the energy to sort the clothes even. So I planned on doing a load before my MD exam Wednesday...but again couldn't... I dragged out to buy new washer and dryer... (My unit is a stacked w/d so if one goes, they both do? ) Sears had a sale...but not really... after taking all my energy to get there, talk with salesman, go through paperwork to buy... Sears had closed my account. Hmmm. Ok, just open a new one (I have a 150+ credit rating.) They denied me. Said they'd send a letter. (I think this is over their non fixing my riding lawn mower a few years ago...? But that was dispute of less than $100.) ANYWAY... no washer still... I couldn't find the energy to sort clothes yet so still hadn't gone to mat.
(BTW I had pulled the knob on the washer to see if maybe the maid had messed the timing up...out of sync... and I'd shut the water off and on at the spigot... and gone through all the cycles on off on off to see if there was ANY function on the washer for drawing water... it would try to drain (but no water in tank, of course) but nothing else...

This morning, in frustration, I was saying that I NEED this washer... GOD SAYS if I ask.. I'll get. And I went face to face with God in prayer... yes it felt like that...stood there, reasoning with Him, and asking in Christ name for the washer to work.

You know what's coming...

Well, I figured maybe if I show good faith, and pour some water into the machine and add clothes... expecting (this is evidence of faith!!!???)

IT WORKED! I had to baby it into spinning...but it has spun on it's own since... draws water, empties, spins...

PRAISE GOD! Now I'm not looking or worrying about the future on this machine, as it IS old... BUT I asked God to make the washer work for me... and HE DID!

TODAY I get laundry done. (Put aside the fact that I'm not supposed to do laundry...and might pay for it later with increased pain... maybe God will diminish that too for me today!)



Remember the Johnny Appleseed song? Oh the Lord is good to me, and so I thank the Lord, for giving me the things I need the Sun, the Rain, and the washing machine! The Lord is good to me.

Yes, God works in the incredible realm only the things WE think are incredible! As you grow older muse, you will see many such things if you look for them...open your heart and eyes to them. I can tell you stories of angels helping etc that would fascinate you...true stories.

My physical therapist and T can both attest that I have NOT been wearing my usual clothes but things I wouldn't normally (my clothes were dirty.) They are all clean now I've already phoned my T (he's a Christian also) and left a message about it. It was really a big problem for me... very stressful as well as becoming or going to be quite physical activity to carry clothes out.. I've tried that in years passed..and always "lost" a whole load! lol

I have answered prayer all the time... but had to share this one... it's just soooooooooo good!

GOD is good!
