for several years (or more) i have been getting an accommodation for agoraphobia from the little local bus. they drop me off at the front door of the market/pharmacy, and pick me and my groceries up there, too.
the senior bus also provides this service. the regular bus stop is a good 200 ft out in the parking lot, and i haven't felt able to walk that far in the open. so, yesterday i had only a few items to exchange, and the schedule is for an hour; so i had half an hour to wait. i sat under the overhang in some outdoor chairs, and looked at my watch a couple of times, and thought: "shoot, i should just get up and walk to the regular bench." and then i did it.  nothing bad happened~! no panic, no terror, no anxiety. just sunshine and fresh air. i am still rejoicing~!may we all have success, and the causes of success
