Five Christian Absolutes

1. Jesus is the Christ, only begotten Son of the living of God
2. Salvation only through His blood
3. Was crucified and died for the remision of our sins
4. Rose from the dead on the third day
5. Will return for His Church to live with Him forever

Everything else in the Bible is up to interpretation and/or discussion.

Gabriel, it doesn't sound like you've ever opened a Bible. If you can get a hold of a red letter edition, you'll see Jesus words. That should make it easy for you to find where he DOES say he's the Son of God and everything else that has been stated here.

It my opinion that this thread has suddenly "degenrated" into what could be arguments and unhealthy dialog. Nosebleed I'm sorry but I'm stepping back from this thread.

Perhaps if you commented on what's been made available to you instead of just comming up with more questions, YOUR posts may not seem as if you do want to argue some points here. I for one thought that you are sincere in your quest.

God's blessings in finding your answers. Where did we come from? Where are we going?

Returning to the original question in the subject line, I believe that God has a major overall plan.

Where did we come from? I believe God created us for His fellowship. He made a perfect place, and originally perfect creations in man (He called both Adam and Eve "man" btw Where did we come from? Where are we going? Adam was the one who named Eve, along with the animals Where did we come from? Where are we going?) He also gave man a freewill, for He did not want robots that He had determined would serve and worship Him. He wanted His creation to worship Him for what He is, Love and Magnificence.

When man became imperfect, well we all know most of that story, don't we? So God knew what He had to do, and that was to Provide a way for man to become perfect again. We don't know nor understand the mind of God, but I believe the Bible is God's Word for us to read and study and know what He wants us to know in that respect. So I can't debate (or won't?) the WHY of God requiring a blood sacrifice, but He did/does and thus provided His Son, also God.

Where are we going? I believe the main purpose for us to be alive is to worship God. Short and sweet.

Those who find God will "live" forever with Him, once we are made into a perfect state again. Those who do not find Him will "live" out of His presence forever. That's what I believe.

I think it's very common, in fact, probably the most often queried thoughts, these of who am I and why am I here, in the entire world since the beginning of time???

I cannot continue posting in this thread without debating.

So whoever the moderator/admin is, go ahead and lock/delete the thread if you must.

When I said "they all sound stupid to me" in my original post, people should've understood that I know quite a lot about all these religions. I wouldn't be calling them stupid without knowing too much about them.

I didn't know that you couldn't debate here. So I apologize.

I understand why they sound "stupid" to you. For one, you don't have the facts of Christianity right. Hopefully some of your questions have been answered.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
