When i look into your eyes
heaven is all i see
i can feel
God staring back at me
reminding me
of all that he has given
in replace of
all that he has taken
When i look into your eyes
foggy memories become clear
sparkling and sweet
never nothing to fear
when at first i didnt know you
i didnt understand
the reasons or the questions
the longings and demands
i was never good with feelings
to this very day
i still try to sometimes hide
but i know i will find my way
as long as i can look
into your deep and trusting eyes
then i can understand
that God never ever lies
He never gives us
more than we can handle
with each tender step
we take in this brutal battle
And i may fall or crumble
Or get weary on the way
But if i look into your eyes
I know ill make it
one more day.

Im posting this in Spiritual forum because some of you dont look in creative ...and i wrote this for all of you so you can all remember that when you ask yourself why did God do this to me...why am i to suffer ....the answer is clearer than you expect....look into the eyes of your child...your family member...or significant other....or even yourself in a mirror....he may have taken something from you...but look at the gifts he gave in return.
