Today my symbol seems to be horns, first I checked my pinterest feed and there was a quote about snapping an angel halo in half and shaping it into horns ,then a picture of a girl with horns too also in the feed.
I went out for a walk a few hours later and picked up on the ground a horned hat thing,it had been made from wood or tress or something.i couldnt believe it. Does anyone get obvious lesson from the universe or signs there suppose to pay attention to ? Do you pay attention to them ? How do you figure out what the universe is trying to tell you? Why your getting repeated symbols? ![]()

Yes , like synchronicity things. The universe communicates in symbols and its learning to read them and see their meaning , often its multi symbolism.

No I don't think so I had a vision last year of me as an african girl with large horns on my head so I think it's related to that, the horned Godddess.and maybe four years ago I drew a few horned goddesses.

I've lived my life following signs from the Universe. Taking paths that appear for me, the easy road. Like when a door closes, another one opens. It's so true. Whenever a door closes, another one really does open, and I just trust it and take it.

Horns are signs of adulthood in animals. They also symbolise strength. Most people wouldn't opt to tangle with a horned animal. Getting gorged by a horned animal would likely lead to death. To me, these horns represent coming of age, coming into your own, finding strength and fortitude, becoming a force to reckoned with, being able to defend yourself, arriving.

I would be careful playing seeing signs.
Ambiguity is the problem with them.

Signs? I guess I got a sort of sign when I received a Susan B. Anthony Silver Dollar out of a change machine that was meant to give only quarters at my laundromat. It wasn't until I realized that she was a member of this church I am now apart of that I thought it could be a sign that I was on a good spiritual path.
Or I could have just gotten the coin by pure coincidence. XD Either way, I don't go looking for signs in absolutely everything I do. That's a very obsessive and unhealthy thing to do. Like Archville says, the ambiguity is often times the problem and you'll be seeing signs everywhere you go and following them to your doom. There's also false signs that are meant to lead astray those that seek one of the correct paths, depending on how you look at signs and what they mean. So, because of all of this, I don't EVER look to find signs, as they're often times more trouble than they are worth.

I think the danger in seeing symbols or signs lies in the nature of the person who is doing the interpreting. A person who has a predominately negative outlook is more likely to interpret the signs negatively, a positive minded person will interpret them in a positive way. Studies have shown that an optimistic outlook outweighs a negative outlook in terms of health advantages. If you interpret the signs positively, however fictitiously, should make no difference to any one, if no harm is done. Everyone has a personal story to tell, if it benefits your health, and in turn, your positivity improves the general well being, where's the harm?

You are so right,I didn't think of that i think I focus a bit too much on signs, but some really seem to guide the way.

If something empowers you to find the best parts of yourself, then it's a very positive thing. Just be careful not to allow yourself to see signs everywhere all the time. If you begin seeing signs everywhere all the time, you are merely seeing what you want to see. And there is no meaning whatsoever. Your important messages are going to get buried in the barrage of signs you are seeing (that aren't there). So filter, filter, filter. The universe may speak to you with signs, just don't start imaging signs when they aren't really there or you risk not seeing what's actually being said to you.

I do believe signs are given to us, not by the universe, but by God. The stars and moons are set for us, the weather and seasons...and insects and animals...all give us signs of things.
You can draw in the symbols or signs you dwell upon, so the more you think about "horns" for instance, the more horns that come to you. This is not only a faith topic, but quantum physics and observer effect. I like to focus upon something that means good to me, that I'm "on the right path" and then each time I see one during the day, it reinforces a positive regard for my efforts. (Sorry, not telling what that main item is ![]() We use signs every day in our lives, we don't necessarily "believe in them" but we do use them. Think about it (rather than me sharing examples) and find them.

To answer Katie, yep, and I gotta agree with (JD) here. I think a great deal of wisdom to comes from not only accepting these signs and interpreting them, but to to be able to let go of your own plans and agenda should they conflict with God is trying to clue you in on. I feel it's a remarkable gift to be given these little clues or hints into God's plan. Even still, I find it very hard to let go of of something I've set into action and worked hard at, even knowing with all these signs and symbols it's likely not my path. Idk if any of that made sense. :P But ty for the original post @katie, interesting topic.

God's plan? Who's god? Can't we all choose our own gods?
