Good question Dee! If you want the King James, Darby or the Apocrypha go here, i.e. http://www.onlinebible.net/

If you would like to listen to the Bible being read, try this (different translations available) http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/audio/

I love the English Standard Version, a word-for-word translation which has literary beauty. You can find it here, the whole Bible, and you can listen to it also. John Piper, one of my favorite pastors and authors, endorses it and uses it in his ministries.

My favorite is e-sword.net.
For free you can download the Bible in several translations and versions, as well as numerous commentaries.
