Hello shotyouth:
I haven't read all of the bible, but I've read various portions of it. I've also been drawn to Gnostic texts such as The Gospel of Thomas, and scripture from other cultures such as The Bhagavad Gita. In addition, I've read in fields as diverse as shamanism and alchemy, all in an effort to better understand the experience that is known as psychosis in this culture.

If any of that appeals to you, you might enjoy some of the threads in the Schizophrenia and Psychosis Forum, such as this one: Schizophrenia & The Hero's Journey

Why do you think it's crazy reading in that order? Difficult, maybe... but crazy? I don't think so. i read the bible

One technique in proof reading for spelling errors is to read things/text backwards. I think the only good purpose to read a continued text backwards is to keep from glossing over and not comprehending while reading it forward? i read the bible

We are blessed when we read God's word... and it is His speaking to us rather clearly at times, isn't it?

When I use to keep a journal, when my treatment started, I started on the last empty page and went backwards to the begining, I'd then look back at "where" I was back then, feeling good, seeing I had progressed.
If reading for some is prefered by going from the end to the begining, I guess all that matters is that a person reads.
If it's the Bible, and one finds that style of reading, it may be different or difficult, but if it brings comfort and/or enjoyment that's cool. i read the bible
