I have a friend that is dying. We went to see him today and he is barely hanging on now. It is amazing how fast people slide at this point. Last Wednesday our church had a service at his house since he could no longer attend services. He was laughing and talking. Today just laying there. It is so sad. His poor wife has had no sleep since he got bad. I will go see her and him again tomorrow. Please if you pray, pray that he not linger like this. That his transition be swift and peaceful.

You have my prayers for your friend & for strength for his wife. Sunday would have been my Mothers 83 birthday......went to the grave to put flowers there.....& it brought back all the visions of what you are expressing....how quickly they go down hill when the end time comes. It is so sad to go through.

debbie I hear ya. I know it sure brought it back to me when my mom was dying too. I am sorry you are going thru it again too. I hate visiting my mom's and granddaughter's graves.

he passed this morning right before I got there. His poor wife is not taking it very well. they had been married 46 yrs. please keep this family in your prayers.

My condolences Bebop

This has been quite a day. A very dear friend of mine lost her only remaining sibling this morning - he was like a long-lost brother to me. Today is also the anniversary of my mother's passing 16 years ago.

May our friends rest in peace.

Bebop, I just lost a friend the same way in April. There was the same dramatic change within just a few days. I prayed she wouldn't linger either. She passed quietly and peacefully in her sleep. I was very grateful.
