I'm reposting this here so you'll know why I need your prayer support.

Well, it's not the absolute worst, but it's not good, either. If my kidneys were flags, they'd be at half staff. They "look" good but they ain't workin'! Got some more tests to go through.

The nodule on the thyroid is one and a half centimeters. Will have to see an endocrinologist to do a biopsy.

Doctor's pronouned me Diabetic even though my blood sugar isn't high. It could go there with the kidney failure.

It's not the thyroid that keeps me so tired and sleepy. It's all the toxicity in my blood from my half-baked kidneys.

You have my prayers for your health......do they know what has caused your kidneys to be non functioning the way they are?

I pray the node on your thyroid will be nothing serious.

The good thing is that you are getting some answers as to why you are feeling the way you are feeling......but the answers aren't what we would like them to be.

Prayers for the strength to take care of yourself & all that you have going on.

you got it! how did they come to the conclusion you are diabetic? I was just told I was too but blood sugar was a little high.

Debbie, the doctor doesn't know why my kidneys aren't functioning well. She made a stab at high blood pressure untreated for a long time, but I don't think that's it. I've been on meds for it for over 20 yrs now. There have been long periods of time that I've lived on Tylenol, though. Failed to tell her that yesterday. I don't know if that could be it or not. For a long time now, I've felt that having to go pee is SUCH a waste of time so I tend to hold it till I can't anymore. As a beautician in training, I was told that is a "job benny". I don't know... it could be a whole lot of things. Just hope they figure out how to jump start these silly things!

Ya know... you could bring those hugs to me when you find time. You let me know and I'll be ready!

Yes, you need to call your doctor's office and make sure they note that you "lived on" tylenol for times...yes, it can cause damage.

Guess they figure you're a diabetic if your blood sugar is over 100 pretty consistently. I thought 100 was normal. :shrug:

Still praying & thinking about how you are doing. I hope that things will be able to straighten themselves out without a lot of difficult procedures.

I know this isn't exactly related, but my Mom eskie had a low kidney function. It turned out that she had been very dehydrated with one of her litters (that was the one with the tiny puppy). We gave her the kidney diet food & drowned her with water (always made wure in was availabl). Within a few months, her kidney functions were normal again. Miricles can happen, so I am praying for God's miricals for you.
