I've always questioned my purpose...from the time I was really little. Like what is my purpose in this world? For the longest time I tried to be everything everyone else wanted me to be...but I was never happy being what they wanted me to be. With my dad being Catholic, he always wanted me to fit into their little description of what a good person was to be...but I never felt it in my heart. And mom always said as long I didn't worship Satan I was free to believe in anything I wanted.

I was always extremely close to nature, saw it as many different aspects...many different entities so to speak. I guess that's why I've become what I am today. But still there are questions.

Sometimes I think I should be this or that...but always questioning...and nothing ever having an answer. I have a strong need to help others. I always have. But yet a big part of me is a keeper of knowledge, truth, and justice. I think maybe I should be more involved...but without a teacher it can be hard.

So I keep searching...the endless search for me...for what I am truly meant for....maybe I'll never know my purpose but I would love for someone to just tell me! It would be so much easier!!!!

Do whatever it is your love to do. Everyone has a passion. Sometimes that passion is weeded out at young ages by social pressures, but it's there. After all, a bird doesn't need to be told that it's supposed to fly.

Stop over thinking things, and forget all the why not reasons.

Nah, I think it would spoil all the fun if your purpose were spelled out for you by someone else. It would then be just a job, following someone else's instructions. So Many Questions Also, who says you are to have only one purpose in life? So Many Questions

Listen to your needs, follow your heart, and pay more attention to the world around you. Take some quiet time for yourself and ask God for guidance in helping you find what you need to feed your soul.

I wouldn't worry too much about being this or becoming that - you already are. So Many Questions

It's only natural to wonder what your purpose is. I still am looking myself, there is a road we must travel to get to self actualization. That's if we ever get there, there is work involved. If you're willing to work and gain self knowledge....you will find your purpose. It's never easy.

This is the existential question that all people ask: what is their purpose here. That you ask in this forum means you must believe there is a spiritual purpose. I find that most people do find comfort and peace with a specific purpose through delving into the spiritual realm. Seeking is man's good effort. Finding is God's blessing, imo. TC.

our purpose? I also feel as though we are compelled toward what it is that will bring us fullfillment in life but we have to be open to it. I think a lot of that has to do with becoming less focused on ourselves and being more focused on "the goal" of our wonderful journey thru life... what goal? To share with others the love we feel that our heavenly father (or whatever you wanna call God) has shown us,sharing that with others to lift them up when they fall, to give hope when life seems hopeless, expressing his love for them,to them... cool stuff like that. When compassion, empathy, love, flow thru us to others we also get a "contact high" (lol) thats a lot better than anything I've ever smoked or injected or even been prescribed...as diffrent as we all are,we all have the same needs! just like you i saw perfection in nature, art, music, but instead of worshiping "the created' I worship "THE CREATOR"

Thanks for your comments.

Yes, I feel I have a duty to some spiritual duty. Even if that just means tending to things on our beautiful Earth (or could be my family's deep rooted tradition in farming lol)...I would so very much enjoy that.

I think I tend to question myself more when I'm not doing well...

We are here to become ourselves. There are road maps and guides, but they have been banned here.
