I would like to gently remind all what this thread is about and to please stay on the OP's topic without re-hashing the issues and arguing please.

recluse1 does not mention any specific religion in her thread and as DocJohn has said so many times, this forum is not to discuss religion.....only spirituality as it pertains to our mental health and healing.

Getting together in other venues for your discussions looks to be a great way to be able to connect and learn. Let's stay on topic here please and stop placing blame .... it's time to work past that now and look towards the future.

Wishing you all peace, acceptance, understanding and compassion.

And so... the arguments start again. Looking for others Some people just can't leave well enough alone, I guess.

I was just thinking the same thing. I honestly didn't see an arguement just a discussion ...again

Sorry, Sabby. Didn't mean to step on your toes. We must have been posting at the same time.

Thank you for stepping in.

In almost four years that I've been here, it always starts out with someone seeming to be nice but always winds up with the thread being locked. Like I said, some people just can't leave well enough alone or stay on subject for some unknown reason.

There's two factions here that just don't get along and one can't leave the other be. Looking for others It's obvious who is most interested in sharing text and like beliefs. At this time, there are no other groups wanting to share in their own beliefs with others of like mind. If there is, it hasn't been spoken of publicly that I know of. No other set of beliefs has had a thread of sharing going. Why can't the majority just be left alone? Why do those few that have no interest in a certain set of beliefs just stay out of those threads?

I don't think it's so much any one set of beliefs. It's more of a personal feeling of animosity, sorry to say. Looking for others

Count me in of the group.....I would love to be part of the sharing as this part of my life is what has been the most instrumental in my mental health healing I was hoping that I it would be something that could continue here at PC....only to have encountered the situation here.

Things happen for a reason.....maybe to be able for us to find each other for a stronger fellowship.......to come out as a stronger support group for each other. We never know exactly why at the time.....but we are find out as we go along what the reasons are.

PM's as we have been doing, Chat room, blog.....I am working on figuring out the blog thing....I just set up the my blog space last night, but haven't gotten into the specifics of it yet....sometimes I'm a bit slow on he new ideas & methods....but count me in as I am a quick learner once I get started.

As I said,,,,,I was praying that I would find this area of support available here on PC after a long time of being away from feeling the need for it. It is a blessing to find this fellowship here.

Thank you for this post,
Debbie

Looking for others I hope you don't mind that I assumed that you'd want to join us, Debbie. Looking for others

I sure would like to hear what you are learning in your study right now, the secular aspect, learn what you learned in the past session and just fellowship with you. You're counted in! Looking for others

Sorry Sabby, it looked to me like all were trying to be supportive until....

I am truly happy that the some of people going with private fellowship will return to this forum and drop us a line or two....maybe even a prayer or two too..... thanks Sept.

Although I never felt I needed to email Doc John, or Rap for that matter, regarding anything in the spirituality forum, at times some of the responses made me feel very uncomfortable. At times the responses seemed so calculated to only hurt, and frankly those responses were the ones from people who I thought fell into my area of believing.

And even though I will not be joining your group because I do not feel strong enough, nor proficient enough in my faith, which in broad terms is the same as your own, I do wish you all well... As I hear others doing too.

Please accept our well wishes and prayers for your peace and healing And please also be sensitive that others may be hurting as well. That is all I ask in God's name...... Thank you and peace to all

Danialla, I'm putting you on my prayer list, Hon. As far as I'm concerned, you'd be welcome to ask any questions you might have and to partake in the love and acceptance we have to offer. One of the intentions of this group is to NOT JUDGE where you are in your walk, but to love you and to accept you just as He would.

Please take care. Looking for others

I'm making a list and checking it twice! Want to make sure I don't over look anyone!

I also would like to say that no matter how far along we are on our walk, from brand new to seasoned veteran, i want all to feel welcome to join in when the details are worked out.

My purpose for this idea is to have a place where we could all grow, learn, and share with one another and be comfortable and happy in doing so.

Thanks again everyone. Blessings to All!

I just wanted to take the time to thank everyone that responded. And the invitation is still open if others decide it is something they might find helpful.

I also want to give a big thank you to those that have worked so hard to help me put this together and get it rolling. You are a blessing!

Just thought I'd bump this up to let everyone know that there is a group that has formed that is willing to discuss religion. There is a Bible Study in a private chat room every Monday night at 6 PM PDST, 9 PM EDST. (edit) The name of the chat room says it all. No mistaking it. Looking for others You'll have to access it from any of the other chat rooms.

There is also a blog open to any faith for comments, questions, etc. This is the place.

Sometimes there is a glitch with posting, but don't give up. Try again after bit or PM me, Recluse1 or Rapunzel. Looking for others

Peace and love.

I might add that you probably don't have to talk much, as in any chat, if you don't wish to. That's 9 pm EST, btw?

Is all the info provided in the link above in September's post?

Just want to make sure that I and others get all the info, so we can make a really educated decision as to whether we wanted to join or not.
