Although I don't share the same beliefs...I do have memories of when I was little. I remember this church my mom took us to once...I remember it vividly...it was a beautiful day and everything seemed so bright...and such joy there was behind those closed doors! Oh to have wonderful memories like that!

I love memories like that...so positive...full of cheer and love.

((TaintedG))) I hear you ..I was just telling someone today about when I was a kid laying on the floor coloring and my dad had the radio on listening to baseball..(I am not sure we had a TV back then) and a light breeze coming through the window..I was at such peace....even now when a light breeze comes in..IF a ballgame is on..I will get sooo mellow and just fall asleep...which is a big deal because usually I can't sleep without meds

I find alot of inspiration in music! Seems you can music to suit any and every mood you're in or even to help you get into the mood or state of mind you want to be in.

Music is like meditation for me sometimes!

I agree, Recluse. I can put myself on a downer of get happy and excited with the music I listen to.

Have you listened to Gosh Groban's "You Raise Me Up"? That makes me cry good tears! It's definitely spiritual for me although it's a secular song. If you haven't heard it, I'd strongly suggest that you do. You'll probably find it on YouTube. JOY!

Just wanted to say that everytime I see this title, I begin to hum that same song. I loved it when I was a child and when my children were young I would sing it all the time.

Thank you for the happy memories!

Boy, did I make some type-os! JOY! That's what I get for not proofreading before I post. JOY!

"downer of get" should be OR
Gosh Groban should be JOSH Groban. JOY!

JOY!

His voice alone can give me chills, but that song does what the title says... it raises me up!

((((((SeptemberMorn)))))))) I also love to hear Chris Tomlin.

His version of amazing grace is beautiful. Saw him in concert! WOW, it was so uplifting! 6,000+ people all singing and praising together! The energy was so strong you could almost feel the wall shaking!

You might also check YouTube to see if you can find a song of his called "Enough". Breath taking for sure!
