I agree, along with enjoying every day as if it were your last. But I heard something on tv one time that really irked me. Someone said, "Why do people say life is too short? What do they experience that is longer than life?"
That just made me think a lot.

History is definitely longer than one life. Civilizations tend to last longer than one life. The geological formation of the Earth takes waaaaaaay longer than one life.
And if life wasn't so short, why would we as a culture be obsessed with lengthening it?
