my dear friend Tara is pregnant. at almost 24 weeks her baby died inside. tonight they are inducing labor. I am so sad about little Emma right now my heart is breaking for her and her family. Her husband is an alcoholic and was at the hospital drunk. Tara is a christian so we know how this is going to go. please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers over the next few days.

of course it is ok. also another friend called me this morning and her son and his wife went thru the same thing last week. Tara is still laboring so it should be tonight when the baby is delievered.

That's so sad. Will do. My mother's first child was a stillborn boy. She felt him stop kicking when she was 8 months, but back then (1950s) they made her wait until she went into labor. It was so hard for her, and she often talked of that boy.

thanks hon. today I am just very very sad. the baby delievered this morning just after midnight. the cord had 2 knots in it. just sad.

the funeral was today for baby Emma. it really hit me hard. maybe all the recent losses but I think alot if has to do with the granddaughter I lost 12 yrs ago.

Be, you know I had some scares when I was pregnant so I know a bit of what she is feeling...
I will keep her in my thoughts. If she is a christian, does she beileve that her baby will go to heaven? I am not sure how that works. If she does, remind her if you can of this when she is ready.

Sometimes the best thing we can do is sit silently with someone while they go through what they are going through too.

Poor thing.

yes she is a christian. she knows baby emma is in Heaven for sure. her husband on the other hand is not and having a really hard time with this. very sad situation to say the least.

Am I allowed to say that I believe the baby is in heaven (or the spirit world or pre-existance) as she was before, still waiting for her chance to be born. Since baby Emma didn't get to be born and be alive in this world, she will get that chance. For reasons we don't understand, now just wasn't the right time for her.

My brother and sister in law lost a baby like that, knot in cord... when he dropped into position he tied a knot. They had her carry him to term ( a long time ago) how painfully sad when this happens.

sky ouch! this little baby had 2 knots in the cord. I am guessing she was an active little thing. it is so hard to lose our babies.
