I'm a veteran when it comes to foot surgery. I am scheduled for some more this coming Friday. I really hope and pray this will fix what the first podiatric surgeon messed up on my left foot four years ago, and relieve the pain in my right foot. As some of you know, this is the fourth summer I will be laid up. It's supposed to be around a month.
Your prayers and notes of support will be greatly appreciated ~ EJ |

I just realized why I'm having more anxiety this time about surgery. The last time I had surgery was last May after my dog wrapped me up in her lead, and pulled me over, resulting in a fracture to my right ankle. Last time surgery was associated with trauma.

My surgery present to myself arrived today -- new sheets for my downstairs bed. The patient's room is all dusted, and the bed freshly made.

 Do you have a stock of soda and chocolate and magazines, a bell to ring for the new butler... the remote... a phone...  I hope all goes well for you EJ, you deserve it for sure.

Thanks everyone. I've got soda, some M&M's, a cordless phone, and will go dig out the bell -- it's in the china cuboard in my downstairs bedroom.
I'm ready to be through this. I will work on bouncing back next! |
